Wai is a fantastic instructor. Patient, understanding, prompt, professional, funny and overall amazing. I think a lot of people can feel very nervous starting their driving journey but Wai is so kind and encouraging that I felt at ease very quickly.
We covered all bases thoroughly and any time I felt unsure he was immediately ready to correct me but also allowed me to make my own mistakes and correct them myself. I would recommend him to everyone and will continue to!

I couldn't recommend Wai driving school enough for anybody learning to drive, i personally wasn't a very confident driver and was very scared at the thought of driving and had tried to learn in the past with a different instructor.
With my past instructor I found myself very nervous before every lesson and didn't enjoy driving in the slightest so I eventually stopped.
I then a year later went to Wai driving school where I instantly felt comfortable and began to enjoy learning to drive and I would have to say that is completely because of how friendly he was and made me instantly feel comfortable, I found myself a lot more confident straight away as he explained everything in such good detail so I could understand every part of driving but not feel overwhelmed at the same time, as well as being very patient and helping me learn when I would make errors.
Overall I had an amazing experience and he really transformed me as a driver to feel very confident behind the wheel, which meant I even passed my test on my first attempt which at the start of my driving journey I would have never thought was possible.

After having 3 prior instructors i almost felt like giving up driving but Wai increased my confidence from my very first lesson with him.
His calm manner and in depth explanations were able to mollify my driving anxiety so quickly and he got me from being petrified of junctions and roundabouts to completely test ready in just over 3 months!

I am so grateful for all the help that Wai gave me, I passed my test originally at 19 and due to unfortunate circumstances I had to retake my test at 23! Scary enough as it is, Wai helped me refresh my driving skills and my confidence on the road and has definitely made me a safer road user!

Wai is an incredible driving instructor!
After having a terrible experience with a prior driving instructor 6 years earlier, I was extremely nervous to begin driving again. Wai was able to keep a calm atmosphere which in turn alleviated my driving anxiety!
Wai was very in-depth with his teaching on how to drive safely and encouraged independence when I was driving which allowed me to learn from my own mistakes.
Wai stands out from the rest because he is friendly, professional, understanding, patient and great to have a laugh with - making the entire experience an amazing one!
Because of Wai, I am no longer the anxious driver I was on that first lesson back in July, and in exactly 3 months (to the date!) I passed my driving test. I couldn’t recommend WDS more and I will continue to recommend Wai Driving School to everyone!

I can’t recommend Wai enough.
I found it difficult to find an instructor that came to my area as i live in amongst dirt and countryside but Wai was up to the challenge. He always managed to make time for me (even at 7am (: )
He was punctual, patient and calm but also strict and methodical & beyond all - had a great sense of humour!
Wai really helped me gain confidence in driving & somehow i passed first time, in just over 2 months .

I was an anxious driver as I had never driven a car before. I had automatic lessons with Wai. He was very patient in teaching the basics of driving and the traffic rules when I started having lessons with him.
The lessons progresses appropriately depending on my learning needs. He helped me gain confidence in driving and later helped me improve my driving skills to high test standards. I particularly liked his approach during the time when I am ready to take the test. He was strict in a way that I should be able to drive at high standards.
He taught me how to approach different traffic situations and shared common test takers mistakes that would cause a fail and considered unsafe driving practice. That helped me a lot when I took my test. Wai helped me gain confidence in driving.
He was very professional and always come on time. I highly recommend Wai driving School.

I am writing about my experience about learning from wds,to be honest it is not all fun, I was tested being a driver in another country knowing a different standard but you learn and excel what driving standard here in the uk.

have passed my driving test with the help of a very dedicated instructor- Wai.
Although, I have failed the first attempt but that was because I was so nervous that time as a first taker; but Wai did not give up on me but rather pushed me forward to be a better and safe driver on the road. I can say that before I knew Wai, I was a wreckless driver but when I started to have a lessons with him I have developed a discipline on the road. As a student driver, of course you are prone to commit mistakes while you are still learning, although Wai is strict on the road but that is because he really wants you to pass the test and for you to be a safe driver thus to avoid serious problems on the road. There are so many schools that can offer driving lessons, but I think WAI DRIVING SCHOOL is the best as it can give the quality of service and will make you not just a qualified and disciplined driver but also to be a better version of yourself.
